Competition Rules
All weekly tips will be put into the tipping box and not removed – if you want to change your tips fill in another slip and write ‘use this one’ on it.
Only the 26 rounds of the football season are involved, no finals are included in the tipping.
Entries should be in by 7pm Thursday afternoon when the box will be opened & a sheet stating the choices of all tippers will be posted on the footy notice board.
DON’T FORGET THAT YOU CAN PHONE OR EMAIL YOUR TIPS IN TO 4997 5297 OR admin@karuahrsl.com.au. IF THEY ARE RECEIVED BY EMAIL IN TIME BUT NOT LONG BEFORE THE GAME STARTS YOUR TIPS WILL BE ACCEPTED BUT MIGHT NOT BE DISPLAYED ON THE SHEET. IF YOU FORGET AND ARE LATE GETTING YOUR TIPS IN YOU WILL GET THE LOSING TEAM OF ANY GAME THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PLAYED BUT ALL OTHER TIPS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If you pick a perfect round you score 3 bonus points.
If the tipper doesn’t get an entry in he gets the lowest score that round.
If there is a fault in your tip, either marking both teams or neither, you will be given the away game.
Tippers may pick a draw by marking ‘D’ next to the teams involved. It is worth 6 points if at the end of 80 minutes and before golden point time it is a draw, but if it is not a draw it counts as a loss.
Scoring is as follows:-
- Win = 2 points for that game
- Unpicked draw = 1 point for that game
- Loss = 0 points for that game
- Picked draw = 6 points for that game
- Perfect Round Bonus Extra 3 points = 19 points for that round.
There will be one BONUS DOUBLER ROUND per tipper available. It is up to the tipper to make sure DOUBLER gets marked on their slip. Only one of the 26 rounds can be doubled. Use it or lose it!
$10 will jackpot every week until one lucky tipper is the only one that round to get a perfect score. If 2 or more tippers get a perfect score that round the jackpot remains unclaimed. If not claimed throughout the season the $260 will be divided amongst those with shared perfect scores.
Tippers with a perfect round win a PERFECT PICKER DRINK VOUCHER. Get your tips in and score 0 tipper wins a RED FACES DRINK VOUCHER.
